We live in a world that asks so much from us—balancing work, family, and everything in between.

It’s easy to feel like you’re supposed to “do it all,” but sometimes the pressure just becomes too much. Maybe you find yourself struggling to really enjoy time with your family because your mind is elsewhere. You feel guilty for not being fully present, like you’re letting people down even though you’re trying your best.

And the stress shows up physically too—tight shoulders, a racing heart, trouble sleeping. It’s exhausting.

You might also feel guilty for wanting to take time for yourself—like it’s selfish to put your own needs first. But here’s the truth: when you prioritise yourself, even for a short while, you’re not being selfish. You’re filling your own cup so you can show up more fully as the mother, partner, and woman you want to be.

Here’s something important to remember: It’s not your fault that you feel this way. You’re definitely not alone.
